The Alzheimer Association of the Great Plains is dedicated to:
- Supporting those with Alzheimer's disease and their families and friends through specialized programs and services
- Educating families, communities, and health professionals about Alzheimer's disease
- Increasing public awareness through presentations, fund-raising events, and media
- Funding research that may unravel the cause and lead to a cure, better treatment, and the means to prevent Alzheimer's disease
- Advising federal and state legislators and agencies about the disease and its ramifications on society
